Gareth Douglas Edwards, died when the car he was driving crashed on the A4063 at Llangynwyd. 18th November 2006
He was a former pupil of Ynysawdre Comprehensive School and enjoyed rugby, diving, music and skiing.
Gareth enjoyed life to the full. He was much loved and left a lasting impression on everyone who met him and was at ease with people of all ages.
He was a larger than life character and made the most of everything. He was a much loved son, grandson, brother, nephew, couson and boyfriend to Kelly and will never be forgotten."
He had recently started work as an apprentice IT engineer at Akeela, Heol-y-cyw.

Gareth, You have been in our thoughts all over Christmas and I know that you have been here with us all. We miss you so much. As the new year approaches we are thinking of you more than ever and it's really hard to imagine next year without you. But I know that in your own way you will be here. Christmas Wishes
Gareth, Grampa, Ian, Robert and I had a drink for you in Swansea today as we know you would have wanted. It was ok but there was a great big space at the table where you should have been. We are all having dinner at Gran and Grampa's, Ian and Mum's tomorrow and we will miss you so much not being there. There's not a moment that goes by that we don't think of you and we know that you are watching over us. God bless,
