Gareth Douglas Edwards, died when the car he was driving crashed on the A4063 at Llangynwyd. 18th November 2006
He was a former pupil of Ynysawdre Comprehensive School and enjoyed rugby, diving, music and skiing.
Gareth enjoyed life to the full. He was much loved and left a lasting impression on everyone who met him and was at ease with people of all ages.
He was a larger than life character and made the most of everything. He was a much loved son, grandson, brother, nephew, couson and boyfriend to Kelly and will never be forgotten."
He had recently started work as an apprentice IT engineer at Akeela, Heol-y-cyw.

I didn't know until just now that Gareth was dead, i was named after Gareth, rugby is and always will be my favourite sport, i used to watch Gareth play on old videos (i am only 12) he was the best (a magnificent player as my dad says).

This time last year Bradley and i was waiting for you to return home from work to go to cardiff.
We were all going to watch wales play canada and it was the first international Bradley would see.
I still remember the first time we went to see Wales play, it was wales against Italy. Wales won and on the way out we bumped into Max Boyce and he shook your hand.In those day's i would by you a pint of larger to keep under your seat and i would have my guinnes but last year you brought me a pint to my seat instead.I will never forget our times in Cardiff on international day and the last night we said GOOD BY.
You brought so much to your family you will be missed so much.

i knw wat you must be going threw i lost my son in a car accident in nov 4th 2006 at the age of 19, he was our soul mate n we miss him so much, its very hard when u have lost a child so young especialy when he was my only son. ur son is in gods hands now xx
